5 JUNE // SHINGAL
Despite all the political turmoil here, it is amazingly peaceful. People are getting on with life. We are on the BCF site distributing meds and serving at two clinics. Because Shingal is the next phase of development for FAI Relief in Kurdistan, we've been meeting with lots of people during preliminary trips over the past couple weeks. We will serve clinics and assist vocational/English classes as part of our community care development as the people of Shingal rebuild in the aftermath of the Islamic State.
