SYRIA // Born Under Barrel Bombs
Over the weekend, one of our teams delivered two of Syria's newest citizens; one by natural birth and one by c-section. Both were born in a bunker under a barrage of barrel bombs.
We've included some photos of the births below. We hope you are encouraged to see Syria's future entering the world. Both of these newborns are from the same town—which has about 200 more expectant mothers, so these won't be the last Labor & Delivery dispatches you see from our teams anytime soon.
