LOVING THE UNLOVED [CTI]
One of the ways our Counter-Trafficking teams begin and build relationships with victims of trafficking is to bring toiletries and gifts, some items they need and can’t afford and some items just for fun—all to introduce ourselves and say, “We see you, we love you, and we will not exploit you.”
When we first made contact with one of these clubs, the manager dismissed us: “Why would you want to give these girls anything? They aren’t worth loving.”
The Gospel says otherwise.
