Lines Are Moving // October 26

As the front lines are moving closer to Mosul day by day and as ISIS loses control of more and more territory we are mobilizing more medics this week to serve alongside #Peshmerga as they clear liberated villages and push in to liberate more. The towns and villages around Mosul remain dangerous after liberation because of mines, elaborate underground tunnels, IEDs and booby traps. Our aim is to minimize casualties and injuries during the clearing process by shadowing the units in charge of the sweeps to provide medical care in emergency situations.
