Daily Dispatch

0900: Took inventory of our aid and medical materials. As we have our primary medic back on base this week, we want to make sure we're prepped and ready to help with medical cases and incoming IDPs as best we can.

1230: The team meets over lunch (a full Kurdish beef lunch) to discuss the ways we're seeing strategy shift and change as IDPs come in. 

1400: We walk the town of Bashiqa to explore any newly opened areas in the city. We even find a little something to use as a Christmas tree! (see below)

1600: The teams spends some time Christmas-ifying our base, making it as much of a home as we can over the holiday season! 

1730: The teams cooks dinner together and spends the evening catching up on correspondence.
