DISPATCH // 17 MAY

In the aftermath of the Mosul liberation campaign, the city is still scarred and shaken by war. Resources are limited, scarce, and generally inaccessible for the thousands of families caught in coalition crossfire. People are still without basic amenities and lack access to clean water, food, and medical care.

As such, we continue to run clinics and distributions in and around the city of Mosul. We never meet anyone who isn't hungry enough to wait in line for a ration. We never treat the last person ill or injured by the scourge of the Islamic State. We never find the last hand waiting for a bottle of water. In this historic crisis, we are grateful for the opportunities to continue meeting these needs, and for all the contributions that make our work possible.
